Presenter: Arija Israel, M.Ed. Certified Breastfeeding Specialist/ Labor Doula

About Arija: Arija Puah is a birth doula and certified breastfeeding specialist. She has experienced hospital, birth center, and home births… assisted and unassisted. Since 2017, she has supported women and families by providing the education and resources needed to understand factors for a healthy pregnancy, the many nuances of labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and a successful breastfeeding relationship. Arija's dedication to Black maternal health is evident in her current pursuit of LPC licensure, with a future intended focus on perinatal mental health.
