About Us:

Highly Sensitive Person, Clinical Therapist & Supervisor, wife, human & goldendoodle momma, organizer, forever learner, quiet leader, social introvert, think-outside-the-box creator, trauma survivor, and infertility warrior.

Liz Gray, LCSW, RPT is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Play Therapist, certified EMDR therapist, clinical supervisor, and infertility warrior & advocate. Liz received her BS in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis.
While going through IUI and IVF, Liz was traumatized by providers who were not trauma-informed. She knew that if she was receiving insensitive-- and at times, harmful-- treatment, it was happening to other women, as well. Navigating her own infertility journey helped her become a better advocate for herself, and in turn, fueled the fire to co-create the Trauma-Informed Maternal Health Directory. The goal of the directory is to connect women to safe, highly qualified trauma-informed providers while they navigate infertility, pregnancy, and new parenthood.
Liz lives outside of Chicago, IL with her husband, mini goldendoodle, and 8-month old son.

While going through my own infertility journey, I was devastated by the realization that many maternal health providers are not trauma-informed. Navigating my own journey helped me become a better advocate for myself, and in turn, fueled the fire for me to actually *do something by co-founding this directory. The goal of the Trauma-Informed Maternal Health Directory is to help women find safe, highly qualified trauma-informed providers while they navigate their journeys to parenthood.

Mary โOliviaโ Verhulst is a Licensed Psychotherapist, Perinatal Mental Health Certified Clinician, Wellness Consultant, Clinical Supervisor, Media & News Contributor, Forbes Health Advisor, Certified Parental Leave Coach, Certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider, and Adjunct Professor at NYU.
She is certified to provide telehealth in New York, New Jersey and Florida, and currently works for a thriving group practice in Manhattan called Letโs Talk Psychological Wellness P.C.
Olivia is the proud co-founder of the Trauma-Informed Maternal Health Network. She seeks to aim curiosity, compassion and light on the parts that elicit shame in people that keep them suffering in silence.
