Mother’s Support Group » 🌍 Illinois
Are you an expecting or new mom? Congratulations! Join us for 8 weeks of in-person classes at the Blue Door Neighborhood Center in Morgan Park. Learn about prenatal and postpartum care. Find support from other mothers in the same phases of motherhood.
Facilitators: This group is co-facilitated with a mental health provider and doula
Details: 8-week education and peer-support group that will focus on prenatal and postpartum health.
Group topics: The group will provide an opportunity for mothers to provide support to one another. We will discuss different topics each week focusing on the physical and behavioral health aspects of pregnancy. Groups will include food, drinks, giveaways, and much more!
Cost: Free. You do not have to be a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois member to participate.

Virtual Perinatal DBT: Strong Roots >> 🌍 Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Michigan
This 10 week perinatal DBT group focuses on emotional regulation skills and parenting skills that increases pregnant and postpartum people confident in themselves in meeting both their needs and their children's needs.
Facilitator: Sultana Karim, M.A., LCPC, LPC, CCTP, PMH-C
Group topics: adjustment to parenthood, infertility, NICU, postpartum anxiety, depression, & OCD
Details: Held virtually (Zoom) on Thursdays from 7pm-8:15pm ET.

Birth Trauma Process Group » 🌍 Colorado
Join The Rylie Center for a virtual process group for those who experienced nervous system dysregulation and trauma during their birthing experience(s). There is no time limit for when your birth occurred (last month or 10 years ago). You do not need to be a patient of the practice to participate.
Details: This is a closed group that meets for 8 weeks on Fridays at noon from 2/7/25 - 3/28/25

Conception Anxiety After Pregnancy Loss: Women's Therapy Group » 🌍 Virginia

Details: This is a closed group that meets on Mondays from 9-10:15am from 1/27/2025 to 3/17/2025.
Location: Meets in-person in North Chesterfield, Virginia.
About: This therapy group supports women who are grieving pregnancy loss and want to try again but feel scared, overwhelmed by the recommendations for supplements, and have a hard time in medical environments that remind them of their loss. They want a group to both hold their grief of pregnancy loss and to build actionable skill towards reducing anxiety to attend to fertility and family building.
